Dr. Jordan S. Zuckerman was one of 10 students selected in the country for the Scholars Program in Medicine at Washington University School of Medicine, one of the top medical schools in the country. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa with honors from Washington University in St. Louis. He trained in Internal Medicine at Montefiore Hospital, completed a dermatology residency at Ohio State University, and has had extra training in hair restoration, laser procedures, and skin cancer treatments. In addition to being on the staff at Long Island Jewish Hospital and New York Hospital Medical Center of Queens for more than 20 years, Dr. Jordan Zuckerman is also on staff at Northwell Manhasset and Mt. Sinai-Queens!


Todd R. Coven, M.D. is Board-Certified in Dermatology and Fellowship-Trained in Mohs Surgery. He is affiliated with The Mount Sinai School of Medicine located in New York City. His practice is limited to Mohs Micrographic Cancer Surgery. Dr. Coven has performed over 30,000 Mohs procedures.

Dr. Coven received his undergraduate degree from Bucknell University, and graduated from Jefferson Medical College, located in Philadelphia, PA. He completed his internship at Lenox Hill Hospital, followed by a 2 year NIH sponsored Dermatology Research Fellowship at Rockefeller University in New York City.

He completed his Dermatology residency at New York Presbyterian Hospital – Cornell Medical Center in New York City. Dr. Coven was trained in Mohs Surgery by an American College of Mohs Surgery sponsored fellowship under Dr. Deborah Sarnoff, affiliated with New York University School of Medicine.


Phoebe Tam has worked closely with Dr. Zuckerman as a Physician Assistant (at the Dermatology Center) since January 2003. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Cornell University, and graduated summa cum laude from Touro College in Physician Assistant studies.

She also worked at Winthrop University Hospital in the Internal Medicine Department for several years, and has a broad knowledge base of systemic diseases. Phoebe is experienced in all aspects of general dermatology, as well as cosmetic dermatology. She enjoys the dermatological challenges of each new patient, and to see returning patients improve. Phoebe prides herself on taking time with all her patients, answering all their questions, and going the extra mile to make sure their dermatologic conditions receive the highest quality of care.

She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA). She is fluent in Spanish, and conversational Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese.


Lev (Leo) Yagudayev is a Board Certified Physician Assistant. He grew up in Queens, New York and comes from a family of physicians. He attended St. John’s University, where he graduated with the highest honors in physician assistant studies. Leo has broad knowledge and experience in diagnosing and treating various skin related conditions, as well as performing biopsies, excisions and various cosmetic procedures. After graduation, he gained more experience and knowledge in the very diverse and busy Mount Sinai Medical Center.

To remain nationally certified, Leo completes over 100 continuing medical education hours every two years and takes a board certifying exam every 6 years. He is a member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants. Leo speaks fluent Russian.
